Une vidéo morphing “1997” Face/Profil Entre 1997 et 2001, encore étudiante aux Beaux Arts de Marseille, je prenais l’ habitude de me prendre en photo dans un photomaton, pour recueillir les traces des multiples coupes de cheveux qui transformaient alors mon visage. Afin de garder la même qualité d’image, je choisissais scrupuleusement le même photomaton. En 2003, en coproduction avec Vidéochroniques, je réalisais une vidéo intitulée « 1997 Face & Profil » animant par un procédé vidéo morphing chacune des images issues de cette série d’autoportraits. Sur le thème de l’identité, cette vidéo retrace une période charnière : une métamorphose suivant l’évolution d'un rituel, la mode à travers une personne et avec le temps qui passe... La performance Sorte de sculpture vivante, la vidéo “1997”est projetée sur le visage même, dans la performance “Bloody Orange”. 2003 The video morphing “1997” Front View Between 1997 and 2001, I was a student at the School Find Arts in Marseilles. I had the habit of making a self portrait at a photo machine, in order to document the many different style of haircuts, which transformed my appearance. In order to keep the same picture quality, I choose always the same photomachine. In 2003, in co production with Vidéochroniques, I made a video entitled “1997” Front View/Side View. With a video process call morphing , each selfportrait is animated from one portrait to an other. The identity theme in this video puts the stress on this crucial moment: A metamorphosis from the teenager until the adulthood throught various hairstyles.
